Rustic Trestle Table

Rustic Trestle Table

This table was commissioned for a client's ski house and needed to accommodate up to 14 people. The main table is 8 feet long and extends to 11 feet with 2 extensions.

The table is made from solid white oak reclaimed from a Kentucky barn.

96"L x 42"W x 30"H (non-extension): $2,900

With two 18" extensions: $3,500

The reclaimed wood retains the saw marks, nail holes and other signs of wear that provide interesting character and a sense of history.   The trestle base and upper supports are cut from a single 8" square beam. The bottom stretcher is joined to the base with wedged through-tenons, ensuring a secure connection.

This table is finished with a gray stain, which provides a weathered effect while allowing the golden-brown tones of the natural wood to show through.
